Manager Pipe

Responsible for: (The main job activities)

• Ensuring jobs undertaken by the Department are accomplished in a professional manner and with emphasis on Safety, quality, environment & cost effective.
• Liaises with Project Managers / Commercial department for job planning.
• Set & achieve productivity targets.
• Control of consumable budget and  Capex requirements.
•  Ensuring optimum use of resources, equipment and manpower.
•  Implement and review the department processes for continual improvement.
• Provide on the job training to the subordinates and succession plan within the department.
• Implement and monitor OH&S, Environment and Quality Management System.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.

Preferred Competencies:

Naval Architecture, Mechanical or Marine Engineering, preferably with experience in a large

Drydocks repair yard with conversion facilities / Offshore experience.

       Good knowledge in piping process.

       Previous managerial experience.

         Good Planning, Organizing  & Communication skills.
