Mechanist Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Machining works such as: Lathes, Milling Machine, Drilling Machines, Boring Machines etc.
• Good experience of Leadership.
• Distribute Sr.Foreman, Foremen and Workers according their skills to perform the task.
• Ensuring safety requirements are met.
• Productivity.
• Planning, Quality, on job training.
• Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.

Preferred Competencies:

• Good mechanical knowledge.
• Technical school which last at least 2 years.
• Practical work in his field at least 8 years in different positions.
• Able to handle all relevant mechanical work m board of ships.
• Trained in management, people relations and planning
• Good experience from VLCC tankers is an advantage.
• Good communication skills.
