Responsible for:  (The main job activities)

• Repair of different kinds of Rudder, Propeller including the Steering gears, Thrusters etc. Slinging and rigging of different heavy parts related to Rudder and Propeller works.

• Ensure effective use of the manpower tools and consumables.

• Give necessary work orders to the Sr. Foreman, Foreman and workers and assign the task according to their skill.

• Coordination of work progress with Asst. Manager, Project Manager, Superintend and other trades.

• Motivate, Coach, Develop and Appraise the Subordinates.

• Ensure that Safety, Quality and Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.

• Perform other job related duties as assigned by the Section head.
