Mechanical Fitter

Responsible for:

• Dismatting of AC/DC electric motors and generators.
• Wahs stators and rotors, ovendry, varnish, clean off excess varnish and paint internal.
• Wash assembly parts, repair and paint internal.
• Reassembling and fitting of new bearings motors and generators, paint internal.
• Select and use proper hand tools abd hyd. power tools
• Following all the instructions from foreman, observe safety practice and cleanliness.

Preferred Competencies:

• TRADE SCHOOL
• THREE YEARS EXPERIENCE
• TRAINING COURSES RELATED TO MOTORS AND GENERATORS AND USING OF HAND AND POWER TOOLS.
